It was on a scramble and he made a person miss and the guy that hit him was shoved in the back by a GC guy and it looked like he was hit under the chin with the PV kids helmet. He was out, or it sure looked that way to my untrained eye. I don't think he even saw it coming as he was making a move on another person.
I was a little disappointed in the PV player standing over him yelling/taunting after the hit while he laid there not moving. One of the kids from PV pulled the other kid away.
They took him to the hospital in an ambulance, hopefully it is "just" a concussion. He definately looked really disoriented.
let me guess who the player was......number __ for pv is my guess.....he had two personal fouls last week against wise....kept on playing......i can see why the people from pound were so mad after they played pv.
I don't try to "call out" kids by name or number unless i'm saying something nice. It was really a poor job by the officials in ignoring it though. I thought it was a fairly well called game and that had no effect on the eventual outcome of the game. The better team won tonight.
Yeah the taunting was a little bit much considering the outcome of the game. Only bad call I saw all night was the pass interference call in the 4th qtr. I think most people got what they expected out of the game. I'm proud of the kids for not giving up when it would've been easy down 27-0. Tonight might've been what they've needed to turn the corner a little.

I wish they could throw flags in the crowd. "Hey Nick, 27-0, keep running the ball, no hurry" was my favorite. Or the people who told the folks from PV to sit down.
And I think most are blowing the "taunt" out of proportion. But Im sure that GC fans see it different, unless its catered to them its wrong and the level of play is down or there is to much barometric pressure or some load.
Why does that not surprise me about him?

Tihlee suffered a concussion and is being kept over night at the hospital to be monitored. He's tough and is doing fine.
